About Us

Founded in 2023, Stagecoach Productions is a 501(c)(3) organization, whose purpose is to enrich, educate and entertain the Millstone Township community and surrounding areas by providing an affordable, quality theater experience.

Lisamarie Cappuzzo, Stagecoach Productions Founder and President

Lisamarie has been a theater educator for more than thirty years.  She received her bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Education from The Catholic University of America in 1992.  At graduation, Lisamarie was awarded the Thomas E. Shields Award for Excellence in Theatre Education and the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award in Theatre.  Lisamarie holds teaching certificates in Theatre, English and Elementary Education.  For the last 15 years, Lisamarie has directed more than 30 productions for Millstone Township Community Education and the Millstone Township Middle School Drama Club.  In addition, she created the curriculum and teaches acting, directing, musical theater, improvisation and playwriting, as part of the Millstone Middle School's seventh grade and eighth grade elective program.  Earlier in her career, Lisamarie ran successful theater programs at St. John Vianney High School in Holmdel, Sampson G. Smith Intermediate School in Somerset, The Learning Tree Preschool in Hightstown and Summer Fun Day Camp in Marlboro, for preschool through high school students.  Creating a space for children and adults to perform together has been a long-time goal.

Gina Augusta Whalen, Stagecoach Productions Founder and Vice President

Gina has been in the theater industry for more than thirty-five years, working in all aspects since graduating from DeSales University with a BA in Theater Arts.  As an actor, she has appeared in numerous productions regionally and throughout the U.S.  She also toured internationally with the Broadway production of Evita.  Behind the scenes, Gina has directed, produced, choreographed and designed costumes for many productions in Millstone Township and beyond.  Gina is the program director for the Millstone Township's Community Education program, as well as the facility manager for the Millstone Township Performing Arts Center.  Since 2012, Gina has been a teaching artist for Millstone Township's Community Education Theater Performance program.

Rob Cappuzzo, Treasurer

Rob's last time on stage was in the 4th Grade as the Wizard in The Wizard of Oz... and after that, he officially retired from theater. That was until he married Lisamarie who is a 30+ year veteran teacher and drama director. Since marrying Lismarie, Rob has "volunteered" to assist Lisamarie in set-building and design, flying scenery and occasionally running Spotlight #2. Rob is an attorney and helped incorporate Stagecoach Productions and secure their charitable status.

Bill Simonelli, Technical Director

Bill has been involved in technical theatre for decades and has numerous award nominations for stage lighting design. Bill's rental and design shop Lighting the Shows, LLC keeps him busy at many theatre and concert venues, including the Strand Theatre in Lakewood. In addition, he is a familiar face in Millstone, where he serves as Technical Director for the MPAC.  He is excited to be working with Stagecoach Productions, helping to make the vision for this Community Theatre a reality.

Haley Bochicchio, Communications Director

Haley has been involved with theater her entire life and is excited to be a part of Stagecoach Productions in a new capacity after performing in "Freaky Friday". She grew up in Cleveland and performed in over 40 musical productions in the area.  Her stage experience led to doing animal shows and the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo and then at Six Flags Great Adventure. She has been seen assisting backstage at Millstone Township Middle School & Brick Township High School. During the day, Haley is a Wish Coordinator at Make-A-Wish, New Jersey.
